These terms govern your use of the Stillfeed iOS application. By using the app you agree to them. Where these terms are silent, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
2. What Stillfeed does
Stillfeed is a specialized browser. It loads instagram.com and youtube.com and — on your device, at your direction — hides short-form video surfaces (Reels, Shorts, and related elements) before they render. It can optionally use Apple's Screen Time framework to block the native Instagram and YouTube apps. Stillfeed modifies only what is displayed on your own screen; it does not alter those services themselves.
3. Your accounts on other services
Logging into Instagram or YouTube through Stillfeed uses your own account with those services, under their terms. You are responsible for complying with them. Stillfeed is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms, YouTube, or Google. Those names and trademarks belong to their owners.
4. Honest limits
Instagram and YouTube change constantly. Filtering may lag behind their changes, and short-form content may occasionally appear until an update catches up. We work to keep the filter current; we do not promise perfection.
Those services may treat in-app browsers differently from Safari — including additional login challenges. This is outside our control.
The optional Screen Time shield depends on permissions you grant and can be turned off by you at any time. It is a commitment aid, not a technical guarantee.
5. Stillfeed Pro
Reels/Shorts blocking is the paid product. Stillfeed Pro (or the gifted first week below) is what strips Reels, Shorts, and related surfaces from Instagram and YouTube. Without an active subscription, lifetime purchase, or an unexpired gifted week, Instagram and YouTube load unmodified in the app.
The optional Screen Time shield is always free and is never gated by any purchase, regardless of your Pro status.
Plans: $4.99/month, $39.99/year, or a one-time $79.99 lifetime purchase unlocking Pro permanently on your Apple account. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) auto-renew until cancelled in your App Store account settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple account.
Yearly free trial. The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial for eligible customers, offered and configured through the App Store. Unless you cancel before it ends, the trial automatically converts into a paid, auto-renewing yearly subscription and your Apple account is charged. This is separate from the gifted week below.
Gifted first week. If you decline the paywall, Stillfeed locally grants you one free week of Pro at no cost and with no purchase involved. It simply ends when the week is up — it never auto-converts and you're never charged, whether or not you go on to subscribe.
Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Stillfeed to violate the law or third-party terms, probe or disrupt the services it displays, or attempt to circumvent Apple's platform protections.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Stillfeed is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address with its effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
