These terms govern your use of the Stillfeed iOS application. By using the app you agree to them. Where these terms are silent, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
2. What Stillfeed does
Stillfeed is a specialized browser. It loads instagram.com, youtube.com, x.com and reddit.com and — on your device, at your direction — hides short-form video and algorithmic-feed surfaces (Reels, Shorts, and related elements) before they render. Stillfeed modifies only what is displayed on your own screen; it does not alter those services themselves.
3. Your accounts on other services
Logging into Instagram, YouTube, X or Reddit through Stillfeed uses your own account with those services, under their terms. You are responsible for complying with them. Stillfeed is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms, YouTube, Google, X Corp, or Reddit, Inc. Those names and trademarks belong to their owners.
4. Honest limits
Instagram, YouTube, X and Reddit change constantly. Filtering may lag behind their changes, and short-form content may occasionally appear until an update catches up. We work to keep the filter current; we do not promise perfection.
Those services may treat in-app browsers differently from Safari — including additional login challenges. This is outside our control.
Hiding sponsored posts, like the rest of Stillfeed's filtering, works by changing what is displayed on your own screen and depends on how each service labels its pages; it does not cover every kind of sponsored content, and it never touches video playback. Those services may object to this kind of modification under their own terms, and we cannot promise how they will treat an account that uses it.
The optional daily time limit is a commitment aid, not a technical guarantee. It measures time inside Stillfeed only; it cannot limit your use of other apps or browsers.
5. Stillfeed Pro
Core blocking is free. Stillfeed hides Instagram's Reels tab and blocks Reels and Explore pages, and YouTube's Shorts; keeps X's Home on Following and hides its Explore feed sections; and blocks Reddit's r/popular and r/all and sorts its home feed by New — for everyone from first launch, with no purchase. Stillfeed Pro unlocks optional extras on top, such as: Stories blocking, Feed blocking, DMs blocking / DMs Only, a following-only Instagram feed, hiding likes & counts, hiding sponsored posts (on the platforms where this is available), a Media filter for X and Reddit (All / No videos / Text only), word filters, grayscale, YouTube focus options, hiding comments (where available), quiet hours, a pause before opening a platform, a session timer, the daily time limit, and the Home Screen / Lock Screen streak widget. Which extras are available on which platform is shown in the app and can change over time.
Plans. Stillfeed Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered as Weekly (for example $2.99 per week), Monthly (for example $5.99 per month) and Yearly (for example $44.99 per year). The prices shown are US dollar examples; the price for your region and currency is shown in the app, and by Apple, before you confirm a purchase, and may vary.
Weekly free trial. The Weekly plan may include a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, offered and configured through the App Store. Eligibility is determined by Apple, and the trial is shown on the purchase screen only when you are eligible. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts into a paid, auto-renewing Weekly subscription and your Apple account is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. The Monthly and Yearly plans do not include a free trial.
Payment and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase (or, after a free trial, when the trial ends). Subscriptions renew automatically at the price of the plan you chose unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) after purchase; deleting the app does not cancel it.
Lifetime purchase. A one-time Lifetime purchase is no longer sold. If you bought it earlier, your Pro access continues on your Apple account, and you can restore it in the app with Restore Purchases.
No free week. Stillfeed no longer gives new users a gifted free week of Pro. If you were already given one before this change, it simply runs to its end and is never converted into a charge; the free core blocking continues either way.
Pro features. The Pro extras are available while you have an active Pro subscription (or an earlier Lifetime purchase).
Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Stillfeed to violate the law or third-party terms, probe or disrupt the services it displays, or attempt to circumvent Apple's platform protections.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Stillfeed is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address with its effective date. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
